International Desk (ChannelTT): About 13,000 workers lost their jobs in Japan in May due to the corona. The hotel and restaurant business has lost the most jobs in the country. 4,346 workers lost their jobs in the hotel. 3 thousand 464 have been fired in the restaurant sector. More than 2,600 people have lost their jobs in the manufacturing sector. According to the country's labor ministry, 20,933 workers have been laid off since the outbreak began on June 5. Either they have been fired or their contracts have not been renewed.
Many labor experts feel that the list of irregular workers is clearly not on the list. If their numbers are clearly raised, there will be many more people losing their jobs. Despite the lifting of the state of emergency, people have not yet returned to normal life. As a result, the negative impact on the economy will continue for a few more days. Due to this the number of people losing their jobs will increase in the coming days.
