International Desk (ChannelTT): France has decided to open its borders to European tourists. It is said that the country will lift the border from June 15.
The French Interior Ministry and Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
The ministry said in a statement that France was lifting all restrictions on its European borders in light of the progress of the health situation in France and Europe and on the advice of the European Commission. These restrictions were imposed in response to the epidemic Kovid-19.
Tourists from European Union (EU) member countries as well as Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and Vatican City will be able to enter France, the statement said.
However, the country also said that everyone entering from the border between Spain and the United Kingdom must be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
